FTE:                            £22,195 - £23,582
Actual Salary:            £19,074.88 (OA5)
Hours of work:          37 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Contract:                    Term time plus 10 days
Location:                    Based at our NP campus however the post holder will be required to work at our Olney campus one day a week

We are seeking, as soon as possible, a colleague to maintain the fabric and resources of a number of Design Technology workshops where students work principally in wood and metal.  The preparation of materials for teachers will be a central part of the job.  A heavy crafts background, together with some understanding of computer-controlled machinery would be beneficial.

Teaching Assistants (TAs) work with all age groups (mainly 11 – 16) in all subjects areas of the school.

The Special Education Needs Department manages the needs of students who have learning, behaviour, sensory or mobility difficulties. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work to support students in the classroom and on a one to one basis; helping with the organisation, recording and completion of work, in addition to providing examination support as required.

A good standard of education, particularly in the core areas of literacy and numeracy, is essential.
