Ousedale School provides a dynamic and flourishing Sixth Form experience for over 420 students.
A clear commitment to the personal development and well-being of each individual, alongside achieving the highest academic standards is at the heart of our ethos.
Sixth Form students at Ousedale benefit from an outstanding learning environment which is conducive to the development of independent learning, whilst continuing to provide excellent student support services. Facilities within the Sixth Form Centre include significant IT desk top and lap top provision, quiet study areas, as well as social and canteen facilities.
The standards expected and achieved at Ousedale School are high, with the combination of personal development and academic achievement enabling over 85% of our students to access degree courses within Higher Education.
Students within the Sixth Form at Ousedale have excellent opportunities beyond the taught curriculum. For example, Sixth Form students support and work with younger students within the school, which enhances their own experience and development as well as contributing to their position as role models within the whole school community.
