Associate Staff

We are looking for reliable, flexible and conscientious colleagues to join our school for the following posts:


FTE:                              £22,639 - £24,054 (subject to September pay review confirmation)

Actual salary:            £14,986.73 (OA 5)

Hours of work:          30 hours per week – 8.40 am to 3.10 pm (½ hour lunch break)   

Contract:                    Term time only

Location:                    Newport Pagnell campus

Responsibilities for the post include supervising classes in the absence of their timetabled teacher, invigilating examinations and supporting the Personalised Learning Centre. Successful candidates will follow a detailed training programme before they undertake their responsibilities in full.

FTE (OA4):                 £19,878 pa - £20,744 pa

Actual Salary:          £13,707.28 pa - £14,325.13 pa

Hours of work:        31.25 hours per week

                                     8.30 am to 3.15 pm (30 minute lunch break)

Contract:                   Term-time only

Location:                   Olney Campus

Your key responsibilities include: working with small groups of students helping them with both academic and pastoral issues, implementing agreed wellbeing plans; and liaising with parents and external agencies as required. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for a varied and interesting role where they can make a difference to the lives of our pupils with persistent emotional, social or behavioural difficulties.

FTE:                            £18,846.00 – £19,732.00 pa

Actual Salary:           £11,346.43 – £11,879.85 pa (OA3)

Honorarium:            £1,500 pa

Hours:                       27 hours per week

Contract:                   Term time plus 2 days

Location:                   Newport Pagnell campus

Teaching Assistants (TAs) work with all age groups (mainly 11 – 16) in all subjects areas of the school.

The Special Education Needs Department manages the needs of students who have learning, behaviour, sensory or mobility difficulties. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work to support students in the classroom and on a one to one basis; helping with the organisation, recording and completion of work, in addition to providing examination support as required.

A good standard of education, particularly in the core areas of literacy and numeracy, is essential.
