Assistant Headteachers

We are seeking to appoint two sharp, ambitious and creative Assistant Headteachers to join a strong, enthusiastic and supportive senior team for September 2010.
- Post one: Assist with the day-to-day running of the Olney Campus and lead on the strategic development of ICT
- Post two: Strategic leadership of the Transition process and Intervention strategies for Years 11 – 13
Ousedale School is a very successful, high attaining, oversubscribed school with campuses in Newport Pagnell and Olney. The school is consistently the top performing 6th Form in Milton Keynes, for both total point school and A/B grades. At GCSE, we also achieve very good results with over 60% of Year 11 gaining 5+ A*-C, including English and Maths, putting us in the top 25%. The school ethos is often praised by visitors to the school and relationships between staff and students are strong. We are a Specialist Technology College. The successful candidates will join the school at a very exciting time. They will work under the leadership of the newly appointed Headteacher, the current Senior Deputy Head, and play a significant role creating and implementing a plan to take the school from ‘good with outstanding features’ to ‘outstanding’.

We are seeking to appoint for September a creative, well qualified teacher of Design Technology, with a successful track record, to lead our friendly team of specialists at our Olney Campus. We offer:

- A good track record at GCSE in all areas of Design Technology;
Lead Practitioner for Maths
TLR 2b (£4225)
We are seeking to appoint for September a creative and well qualified teacher of Maths to join our friendly team of specialists at our Newport Pagnell Campus. We offer:
- An outstanding track record at GCSE, A Level, and Further Maths – consistently achieve over 70% A*-C at GCSE;
- A supportive, friendly and innovative maths team;
- Outstanding ICT facilities;
- Opportunity for continued professional development.
