Introduction
Ousedale School is a Foundation mixed 11-18 comprehensive school situated on two campuses in attractive grounds in Newport Pagnell and Olney, to the north of Milton Keynes. We serve a partially rural catchment area. Currently there are approximately 2070 students on roll including a Sixth Form of 360.

Newport Pagnell’s site accommodates some 1700 11-18 students at present but will reduce its numbers to about 1600 in September 2008, giving much-needed space and greater access to facilities.
Olney's campus was completed in 2007 and will provide 600-places for 11-16 students.
Sixth Form courses for students from both campuses will continue to be based at Newport Pagnell.
The Newport Pagnell campus is housed in some modern buildings. The main stages of building development since the opening of the school in 1963 have been in 1971, 1975 and 1979. In 1993 we had a new (9 classroom) block of superb teaching accommodation. Accompanying this have been the extensive remodeling and refurbishment of other teaching areas together with the enhancement of our grounds and the removal of very old temporary accommodation. 1994 saw extensions to our Science block, to include four additional laboratories together with another Music room and further car parking space. A purpose-built Sixth Form Centre was opened in September 2000, with, more recently, an Upper School dining room in 2007 and a conference suite in 2008.
The specialist accommodation includes a Sports Hall, a gymnasium and 3 squash courts together with extensive playing fields, flood lit tennis courts and a new full-size synthetic pitch. There are 14 well-equipped Science laboratories, 6 Design Technology rooms and 2 Food Technology rooms. We have a suite of excellently resourced Business Studies rooms and also computer rooms. There are 2 Music rooms with 5 practice rooms, 4 Art and 2 Drama studios.
The Olney campus was completed in Easter 2007. It accommodates up to 600 students in 3 storeys set into a sloping rural landscape with extensive views over Olney and the Ouse Valley. The new campus provides the most up-to-date environment and facilities for its staff and students, having been designed to the latest specifications. In terms of specialist areas, the campus has a large Sports Hall, two all-weather games areas and adjoining playing fields for a good range of outdoor sports. There are 5 Science laboratories, 4 Design Technology rooms and a computer suite, as well as Art, Music (including a recording studio) and Drama studios.
