The India Exchange
Ousedale School participates in an exchange programme with Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Haryana, India.
Our exchange link started in 1982 at the instigation of the Central Bureau for Educational visits and Exchanges, London. It sprung from concern that many U.K. schools had links with schools in Western Europe or the U.S.A. but it was much rarer to find links with other parts of the world. India was a chosen country because of historical connections and the fact that there would be no language problems. Our exchanges have been heavily sponsored by The Commonwealth Youth Exchange Council, London.
The Motilal Nehru School of Sports is located at Rai, in the district of Sonipat. Rai is popularly known as Beeswan Meel and is about 37 Km north of Delhi (see map below). Please follow the links beneath the map for more details.
