The Duke of Edinburgh's Award at Ousedale School
Are you aged between 14 and 25?
The Duke of Edinburgh's award is aimed at young people who want to participate in exiting and enjoyable activities in their free time. There are three levels of Award, Bronze, Silver and Gold. You can begin at any level depending upon your age and the amount of time you have available. Visit the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Website to find out more. The guide below shows the activities that must be completed to get the Award.
To join, you will need to get a form from one of the D of E leaders. When complete, please return to Finance.

For the Bronze Award (14+years):
| Service | 3 months |
| Skills | 3 months |
| Physical Recreation | 3 months |
| Expeditions | Plan, prepare for and undertake a 2 day, 1 night venture |
Also:
A further 3 months in either the Service, Skills or Physical Recreation section.
For the Silver Award (15+years):

| Expeditions | Plan, prepare for and undertake a 3 day, 2 night venture |
Also:
People who do not have the Bronze Award must spend a further 6 months in either the Service or the longer of the Skills or Physical Recreation Sections
For the Gold Award (16+years):

On successful completion you will be presented with a badge and certificate and at Gold level you are invited to a Presentation Ceremony at one of the Royal Palaces.
