Pre-Trial Procedure in Criminal Cases
In this topic students will consider the stages that a defendant will undergo when the decision of which court they will tried in is decided. The increasing importance of the Crown Prosecution Service will be given emphasis here as well as the role both the courts and the police have in determining whether a defendant will make bail.
