Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person

This topic begins to look at the lesser offences in the field of Offence Against the Person.  These have a considerable scale from a contact with another that is unwanted to a person causing significant damage for example; breaking bones and causing internal bleeding or brain damage.

A breakdown of the topic:

a) Common Assault

b) Assault occasioning Actual Bodily Harm (ABH)

c) Malicious Wounding / inflicting Grevious Bodily Harm (GBH)

d) Wounding or causing Grevious Bodily Harm (GBH)with intent

e) Consent (as a defence)

Assessment:
