Summer term news
Olympic Maths
Year 9 have just completed a two week project with the theme of 'Olympic Maths'.
Students were split into teams, each representing an Olympic country, and had to complete a series of mathematical tasks to gain points. Winning teams were Hungary and The Netherlands.
Mathletics
Year 7 have just taken part in the 'Mathletics' inter school competition. The online competition involved competing against students from other schools with Specialist Status. Results should be with us soon.....
Video Conference
Year 12 mathematicians will be taking part in a video conference on Thursday 3rd July. They will be linking with several other schools and Cambridge University to explore the effects of probability.
