Crime and Police Investigations
In this topic we will consider the validity of statistics on crime and victims of crime. We will also examine the history of police investigations. Students will be able to look at famous miscarriages of justice, imprisonment whereby those accused were framed by the police that were investigating the crime! Students will also become familiar with the codes that the police are expected to work by on a daily basis, including when they are allowed to stop and search people on the street.

Assessment:
