Judicial Precedent

In this topic you will be looking at what the phrase Judicial Precedent means. This is the first opportunity that the students get to look at where the law comes from and how it develops through the courts.   Students will be learning traditional latin phrases that decribe legal terms, they will also learn how the structure of the courts operate in terms of their hierarchy of power.

Assessment:
