General Defences
This topic provides a balance in the understanding of the Criminal Law. We may find that a person has committed an offence however there are circumstances whereby the extent to which they should be held accountable for that action must be reduced. This reduction or eliminaion of liablilty is provided by, to some extent, the defences below.
